Anechoic Box

An anechoic test box ideally has two main objectives to produce an accurate acoustic replication of an electric input signal and exclude all external noise. The Unitech Test Box Type 4232 comes very close to these objectives, in a unit that is small enough that you can easily use it on your desk. The test box provides excellent insulation from external noise, even at low frequencies, and well-defined uniform test conditions, important requirements for obtaining accurate and repeated measurements. The rectangular, table-top design of the test box consists of the main bottom that contains the sound source and the measuring plane, and the hinged lid that is opened to provide easy access to the measuring plane on which the test object, coupler Or microphone is placed.

  • RF Portable / Table top Anechoic Boxes are cheapest solution for educational institutions to carry out their Lab measurements.
  • Portable Anechoic Box comprised of wheels on its base that enables free moment.

Features

  • High insulation against airborne noise
  • Wide frequency range: 35 Hz to 10 kHz (3 dB (100 Hz to 8 kHz B 2 dB).
  • Uniform sound field in the measurement plane.
  • Usable up to 50 Hz for pressure microphones and up to about 500 Hz for pressure gradient microphones.
  • Handy table-top design function Built-in current loop for testing tele coil function
  • Specifies the free-progressive sound field specified by IEC 60118 SPL on opening microphone conforms to ANSI S 3.22 - 1992

Build test box

Conventional wooden or metal box designs give significantly lower noise rejection at lower frequencies. The design of test box type 4232 incorporates specialized materials and construction principles, resulting in improved low-frequency noise rejection, even better for large sand-filled designs. Compared to traditional designs, a general improvement of noise rejection is achieved over the entire frequency range.

Use

  • Fast and reliable testing of hearing aids and microphones in uniform sound field.
  • Testing of hearing aids, microphones, earphones and tele coils.
